Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A., February 26, 2010 -  CADBLU Dental announces introduction of a new solution for printing dental models and dies from intraoral and impression scan data. The new system allows the user to output models and dies in a choice of different formats and resolutions including a printed interface (a CADBlu exclusive) with the patented Enzo™ Metal Articulator.

The new system drastically reduces the cost and time to procure models and dies. Once the data is received by the laboratory, the laboratory can simultaneously produce the model and the restoration. Once the models and restorations are completed, the lab can inspect the fit, and finish the restoration.

The CADBLU™ model printing System consists of the ProJet MP3000 Model Printer, 3SHAPE D700/701 Scanner/ Software, and the CADBLU Proprietary Model software. The CADBLU Model Software can output models and dies from impression scan data and all imported intraoral scan data such as Itero and Lava COS.

The system also integrates with the CadBlu Design/Wax Printing System for Crown and Bridge, removable Partial Frameworks, and DentalPro™ M-5 Zirconia Milling System.
